Books on ‘Isra and ‘Mairaj’

 

'Isra' & 'Mairaj' of the Beloved RasulAllah ~sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam~ is one of his Greatest Miracles. Scholars have wrote numerous books on the topic. We shall only mention those books which have come under our reading.

1. ‘Al Mairaj’ al Kabir’ by Imam Najmuddin al Ghayti {d. 999 A.H}. This is one of the finest books on the topic.

2. ‘Al Siraj al Wahhaj fil Isra wal Mairaj’.

3. ‘Ayat al Kubra fil Qissa Mairaj wal Isra’ by Imam Jalaluddin Suyuti Shafai` {d. 911 A.H}.

4. ‘Al Isra wal Mairaj’ by Shaykh Nasiruddin Albani, a staunch Salafi scholar of modern times.

5. ‘Wahuwa bil Ufuqil Ula’ by Imam Sayyid Muhammad bin Alaus al Maliki.

6. ‘Al Nur al Wahhaj fil Isra wal ‘Mairaj’ by Imam Ajhuri al Maliki.
